Start with the current operation
Before selecting a trial roll, we ask for the current film label, wrapping method, wrapper model when applicable, pallet photos, load characteristics, monthly volume and the problem the operation wants to solve.
The current specification becomes the comparison baseline. A roll price without width, thickness, length or net film weight is not enough to evaluate the program.
- Current roll label and written specification
- Manual or machine application and wrapper model
- Representative pallet weight, shape, edges and stability
- Normal wrap pattern, film tension and operating settings
- Monthly usage, delivery ZIP code and supply requirements
Keep the comparison fair
The current film and trial film should be compared on representative loads under documented conditions. If wrapper settings, pallet construction or wrap pattern change during the trial, those changes need to be recorded with the result.
A trial is not a universal product rating. It is evidence about a specific film, load, process and set of operating conditions.
Record operational results
The measurements depend on the customer's objective. The review can include film breaks, applied film weight, pallets wrapped per roll, visible load movement, operator handling and the result after normal storage or distribution.
- Film breaks and interruptions during the observed run
- Applied film weight or roll consumption when measured
- Pallets wrapped per roll under the recorded wrap pattern
- Load condition after handling, storage or transportation
- Operator comments and any required setting adjustments
Publish only what can be supported
Customer names, logos, photos and direct quotations are published only with permission. A customer may be described by industry and region when identification is not approved.
Performance percentages are not published from estimates. Future customer reports in this journal will distinguish measured results, customer observations and items that still require confirmation.
