Equipment fit
Confirm that the wrapper and carriage can apply the proposed format correctly.

PRE-STRETCHED MACHINE FILM
Pre-stretched machine film programs are evaluated around compatible equipment, consistent applied film and reduced dependence on in-machine stretching. A controlled trial is required.
Confirm that the wrapper and carriage can apply the proposed format correctly.
Measure film weight per pallet and containment rather than roll price alone.
Validate breaks, neck-down, load stability and repeatability.

APPLICATION FIT
Use these examples as a starting point, then confirm the film on the actual load and wrapping process.
BUYER GUIDANCE
Factory pre-stretched machine film is not the same as every power-prestretch machine program. Confirm carriage type, threading path, braking method and roll dimensions before testing.
Record the current film weight applied per pallet, wrap pattern, break rate and containment result. This creates a useful baseline for evaluating the pre-stretched machine film.
Use representative pallets and written acceptance criteria. Check neck-down, corner breaks, load stability and repeatability across operators or shifts before approving the change.
FORMAT COMPARISON
Pre-stretched machine film arrives pre-oriented and can reduce dependence on stretching the film at the wrapper. Conventional machine film may be stretched through the carriage. Equipment compatibility and containment—not the product name alone—determine the better fit.
PURCHASING FAQ
No. Carriage design, braking, roll dimensions and threading must be reviewed. A controlled equipment trial is required before conversion.
Compare applied film weight, successfully wrapped pallets, break rate, rewraps and load containment. Cost per roll alone can be misleading.
Custom width, thickness, roll length, roll weight and core requests can be evaluated when the wrapper, load, volume and trial criteria are provided.
Include the wrapper make and model, carriage type, current film, normal settings, pallet dimensions and weight, plus the result the operation wants to improve.
