Run the same load
Use the same pallet type, load weight, corners, wrap pattern and handling path for each film being compared.

BINGOPLAS QUALITY BUYER GUIDE
Stretch film quality is not proven by a smooth roll surface or a low price per case. For warehouses, distributors and manufacturers in California and across the U.S., good pallet wrap must run consistently, resist punctures, hold the load and use the right amount of film for the job.

QUALITY SIGNALS
A roll label can show width, length and gauge, but it cannot show how the film behaves on your pallet. The buyer should compare the film on real loads, under normal shift conditions, with the same wrap pattern and acceptance criteria.
PRACTICAL TEST
Use the same pallet type, load weight, corners, wrap pattern and handling path for each film being compared.
Record roll weight before and after the trial, pallets wrapped per roll, breaks, rewraps and operator complaints.
Check shifted cartons, loose tails, punctures, torn corners and whether containment remains acceptable after movement.
CALIFORNIA FACTORY SUPPORT
BINGOPLAS manufactures and supports stretch film from Riverside, California for West Coast warehouses and U.S. distributors. Use this checklist with the sample trial checklist, the gauge guide and themachine wrapper settings guidebefore approving a new film supplier.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The best method is to test the film on the same pallet loads, wrap pattern and equipment settings used in daily operation, then compare film breaks, containment, applied film weight and pallet condition after handling.
No. Gauge matters, but resin formulation, layer structure, puncture behavior, cling, pre-stretch response and wrapper settings also affect performance.
Watch for inconsistent gauge, frequent breaks, weak cling, edge tears, poor puncture resistance, noisy unwind, telescoping rolls, crushed cores and unstable loads after transit.
