How many pallets should be tested before switching machine film?

Use enough representative pallets to include normal variation in load weight, corners, height and shift conditions. The goal is to see repeatable performance, not one perfect sample pallet.

What is the most important trial number?

Accepted cost per pallet is usually more useful than roll price. It combines film used, breaks, downtime, rewraps and final load condition.

Should a failed trial always mean the film is bad?

No. Check machine condition, tension, carriage setting, load edges and operator settings before rejecting the film.
